Pilot Program Details
JN Notary & Professional Services in collaboration with JN Outreach Foundation, Evergreen Baptist Church and additional community partners, is launching a pilot transportation initiative focused on improving mobility, accessibility, wellness, and community engagement for seniors, individuals with disabilities, underserved families, and residents facing transportation barriers throughout Bayview Hunters Point and surrounding San Francisco communities.
This initiative is designed to function as a community wellness and accessibility program rooted in trusted neighborhood institutions that have historically provided emotional support, fellowship, mentorship, outreach, and community stability within underserved communities.
JN Notary & Professional Services and JN Outreach Foundation are seeking grant funding, sponsorship support, charitable donations, or vehicle donation, sponsorship, or community partnership opportunities to purchase a reliable passenger van, minivan, or ideally an electric vehicle to support our expanding transportation and outreach services throughout San Francisco and surrounding communities.
VISION
Our vision is to build healthier, more connected communities where transportation barriers do not prevent individuals from accessing wellness, fellowship, healthcare, and essential support services.
GOAL
The goal of this pilot program is to provide safe, reliable, and dignified transportation assistance for seniors, individuals with disabilities, families, and residents facing transportation barriers within the Bayview Hunters Point community.
EXISTING CLIENT BASE
We currently serve a diverse client base throughout San Francisco and surrounding communities. Existing clients include individuals with disabilities, working families, and various members of the general public.
EXPECTED OUTCOMES
This initiative is expected to:
-
Increase worship participation and community engagement among seniors and mobility-limited residents
-
Increase transportation capacity by approximately 50%
-
Improve access to healthcare, pharmacies, grocery stores, banking institutions, and community programs
-
Reduce social isolation among seniors and individuals with mobility challenges
-
Strengthen family stability and neighborhood engagement
-
Support youth transportation and enrichment participation
JN Notary & Professional Service in collaboration with JN Outreach Foundation are uniquely positioned to implement this initiative due to its existing mobile service infrastructure, established client base, trusted community relationships, flexible scheduling systems, and ongoing partnerships with faith-based and community organizations throughout San Francisco. Transportation support services are already being informally provided on a limited scale; therefore, funding would allow the organization to immediately expand and formalize an existing community need rather than create a new program from the ground up.
Through this initiative, we hope to demonstrate how trusted neighborhood businesses and community organizations, combined with accessible transportation support, can improve senior wellness, community engagement, and neighborhood connectivity throughout Bayview Hunters Point and surrounding communities.
